A post on this venture is very needed, especially since it’s taking up 90% of my free time these days…
What started out as a favour for friends on a snowy evening in Leeds has now branched out into something much bigger. The overall ambition with DEADidea is to create a youtube channel, somewhat similar to SBTV but not just about grime music, that people will use to find new artists in northern DIY scene. But the music videos themselves will be a platform for artists to collaborate, such as illustrators, sculptor and animators. In doing this we also aim to create a hub for like minded creative people, to link people together and collaborate with.
Every video we done so far under DEADidea has been completely free. We’re broke ourselves, so we know bands don’t have tons of money to throw at us. We do accept donations however.
